On September 1, 1993 : Performed the first human Laparoscopic Adjustable Silicone Gastric Banding (en première mondiale) [LAPAROSCOPIC ADJUSTABLE SILICONE GASTRIC BANDING = LASGB ] for the treatment of morbid obesity

 

1994-1996: Organisation of INTERANTIONAL WORKSHOPS ( more than 10 ) ON      LAPAROSCOPIC ADJUSTABLE SILICONE GASTRIC BANDIG at the OBESITY CENTRE, SERVICE DE CHIRURGIE UNIVERSITAIRE of CENTRE HOSPITALIER HUTOIS : More than  300 surgeons world wide have been trained.
